The Vajrapani is a deity found in many asian cultures. His name translates to "the one with lightning in his hand". He''s a symbol of the power of Buddha and is often depicted with a fiery demeanour to the Buddha's left.
He is portrayed as a remover of obstacles and Buddha's protector, people often pray to him for quick recovery in times of sickness and when there is need to overcome weakness with strength.
He is always the patron saint of the famous Shaolin Monastery in China.
